Beaver and Cub Day 2010




DSC_3431.JPG250 Beavers, 230 Cubs, 161 Leaders and numeous parents attended Everton Camp on Saturday 12 th June for a action packed and fun filled day.

Spread over the camp and ouside fields, a fantastic range of activities took place.

Our young people enjoyed the Low rope Course, Crate Climb, Jacob’s Ladder, Zip Slide, Archery, Abseiling, Climbing Ropes, Zorb Ball, Waterslide,  Obstacle Course, “Caving”, Backwoods Cooking, Glass Painting, Woggle Making, Candle Making, Indian Headdress Design, Mask Making, Making Sweets and Biscuits. Also, fairground attractions such as coconut shy, hammer and bell,hook the duck, Play Your Cards Right, Pitch and Putt, Frisby Golf and Giant Bubble Making. Then, hockey, human table football, blind forest trails, circus skills, parachut games, water pump rockets, battle bar pillow fighting, bouncy castle, Aunt Sally, Sumo Suits. This fabulous array of activities covered an absolute multitude of requirements for challenges and badgework-a brilliant oportunity for the young people, leaders and parent helpers to have a marvellous experience.

The day finished with rousing songs being sung round the campfire circle with the embankments also packed with onlookers.

We enjoyed the day and i think the Zorb Ball And So did Laura It was fabulous Dont call me for another year lol i think the Zorb Ball was bril and was the best thing there But it was brilliant i realy enjoyed myself we all did i think Love Laura&Iris xxxx,
