Nan Connie’s Scrapbook

Nan or ‘Miss’ Connie was well known to the older generation of Greenock Scouting.

Following her time in the Land Army in World War 2, she played a major part in the Wolf Cub life in Greenock for many years. In the late 1940’s, she was Cub Leader in the 45th Renfrewshire before moving to the 1st Renfrewshire. Finally, she was ADC Cubs for a number of years.

Given her dedication to Scouting, the above information is very incomplete. If further information is made available, it will be added to this site.

In the meantime, please take the opportunity, to share the contents of her scrap book.

It has been suggested that ‘photo I’ is that of the 22nd Cubs when Lynnette Cromar and Helen Small (both now married) were the Cub Leaders.

Can anyone identify other names or Groups in the photographs ?.
