Danish Visit

Prior to making their way to the Jamboree, The Scout Contingent from Denmark spent a few days enjoying Scottish hospitality whilst staying at Lapwing Lodge.

On Tuesday 24th July, they spent the day in Greenock. In the morning they visited the Council Buildings and the Waterfont Leisure Centre. They then made their way to the Greenock District Scout Camp at Everton where they spent a relaxing aftenoon. Activities included climbing the Jacobs Ladder, Archery, Sumu Wrestling, Golf and other activities.

On the evening of Friday 27 July, the Danes invited some of our local Leaders to a dinner and farewell campfire at Lapwing Lodge prior to their departure to the Jamboree.
