Centennial Bear

Mr Centennial Bear is a member of the 1st Whitby Scout Troop (Ontario, Canada)

The Troop decided that they would send him on his travels and visit as many Scout Troops around the world as possible. It is their small way of giving spirit to this year’s celebrations and to link with Scouting friends who are also celebrating the World Scouting Centenary.

He started his journey on the ninth of January 2007 by going to Inverclyde, Scotland, onwards to the Falkland Islands and then to Canberra, Australia.

In Canberra, having had a quick visit to two Cub Packs, he set off for South Africa.

He is keeping a Log Book of his travels that can be viewed at:- 1stwhitbyscouts.ca
